How to Use

Application: Apply Ringer Lawn Restore fertilizer during the growing seasons – spring, summer, and fall. Use a drop or rotary spreader to cover your lawn. Apply at a rate of 4-8 pounds per 1,000 square feet of lawn area. Each bag covers up to 5,000 sq. ft and supplies 1⁄2 lb of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft.

If you’re using this fertilizer as a supplemental feeding to your usual lawn fertilization program, our lawn care expert recommends applying it at a half rate twice in the season. Ensure you allow at 2-3 weeks apart between applications. Otherwise, it is recommended to apply fertilizer at least 4 times per season.

New sod: For new seed or sod, apply at a rate of 4-8 lbs. of fertilizer per 1,000 sq. ft. This will not burn the tender roots and shoots.

Care tips

Watering: Water your lawn with approximately one inch of water a week after applying fertilizer.
Mowing: Mow your lawn as usual, removing only ⅓ of the height. However maintain slightly longer grass during summer when your grass is stressed from the heat and drought.
Aerate your lawn: For optimal performance of Ringer Lawn Restore, aerate your lawn regularly, preferably in the spring and fall seasons. Aeration involves mechanically puncturing small holes into the soil using an aeration machine or device.
