Alex K. Worley

Alex is a certified master gardener, horticulturist, and aquatic hobbyist. He has a degree in Botany and a Master’s Degree in Agribusiness. He is a passionate and experienced plant care expert and owns two nurseries for plant rehabilitation. Here’s what Alex says about himself:
“I’m fairly traveled and choose my travel destinations based on nature and plants. I’ve enjoyed the diversity of Australia’s landscapes and the tropical plants of the African savanna. In some of these places, I’ve seen huge philodendrons that I thought I’d never see. On a daily basis, I help plant moms and dads care for their plants better, from propagation, starting soil, feeding, and watering to self-diagnosing plant diseases and pests and getting rid of them. I get immense pleasure and satisfaction seeing flowers, crops, houseplants, and fruits (anything green) thrive. I own two plant nurseries where I mostly rehabilitate plants and hold my plant care educational sessions for those interested in learning how to care for their plants.
More about Alex:
  • Certified Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteer (2019)
  • Expert and experienced plant care specialist
  • 13 years container gardener - growing vegetables organically in my home garden has been a constant for me.
Welcome, and I hope to help you become a greenthumb.
